Welcome to the much awaited Pick’em and Win’em for this year. If any of you read the FAQs then you will know we promised to also post sheets on here. Deadline for entries for week 1 coming up 18:20 CT Thursday September 4. Feel free to suggest any site improvements that you would like to see.

I just took down PayPal as an option temporarily until I find a method of not letting them take a 10% cut. Maybe we can look into Applepay etc but for now if you want to pay online Revolut and Skrill are good. Email me if you would like to try some other method.

I will be back tomorrow with the final entry sheet for week 1. Expecting this to be a bit quiet since a lot of people are not quite ready but let’s see. Spread the word and in the coming weeks we see if we can reach some big pots.

The first game has started and the boards are live. Looks like the live leaderboard is not operational but we think we know the issue and will fix that tomorrow. Also the deadline calculator seemed to be calculating from the local user’s clock so that will also be addressed.

The final sheet is too large to attach here , anyway everyone that entered should have it on their mail. Best of luck to everyone.

Week 2 is already open for entries which caused me a little grief but iit should all be sorted out and the deadline is now set to Chicago time so should not be tied to the local user time. I guess we find out next Thursday on that.

The live leaderboard looked to be working but now that game 2 has started I see that it isn’t so will have another shot at that tomorrow. Really want that in action by Sunday. That is the day when we really will find out who is in contention for the first payout.

Week 2 underway and a very healthy participation I am glad to say. So much so that I found a limitation with the sheet generator. Will fix that tomorrow. Apart from that all good. Still would like to see some more people joining in from the outside world of course. If you have FB or Instagram or TikTok or anything remember to promote us online. The additional cost of paying online really is pretty small now.

Good luck to everyone participating. It shall all come clear over the next few days. Someone is going to have a bulging pocket.

Sometimes think I am just talking to myself here but anyway big day tomorrow. 13 games or something silly like that. I am working on a new leaderboard page with live top 20. Why am I doing this when the other one works perfect. Well it is to do with API calling and just scaling the site in case we grow. I will incorporate more detail on the new one with some play details and more. It is still very much in the build stage but I am showing it anyway so you may see better how you are getting on during all the games. Currently if you click any game you should see the last play details but as I say maybe I build it up into complete game detail.


Feel free to comment on what you would like to see I can only say no.

Appreciate the update, Governor — definitely not just talking to yourself! Sounds like a solid step forward with the new leaderboard. Real-time updates and expanded game/play details would be awesome, especially on busy Sundays like this one. Love the idea of seeing how we’re doing throughout the day instead of waiting for a full update after the games.

If it’s doable, maybe a quick toggle between the basic view and the detailed one could help keep things clean for those just checking in quickly. Either way, thanks for the effort — site keeps getting better.

Nice input John. Yes that is exactly what I am trying to implement. In fact if you toggle on any game you will see a field but it isn’t populated yet. Same for anyone in the live top ten. Click on them and you will see their tiebreaker entry. Again not fully implemented. Appreciate the feedback though and all ideas are welcome.

Looks like after all the dust has settled after the Sunday games we see the same people up at or near the top. Everyone has to rise to the challenge. Week 3 is another 16 game week so lots of options.

First Monday Night game underway. Still very close and 3 people remain in the hunt. Tampa Bay currently leading which would make it all count on the total scores for the tiebreaker. Fairly low scoring so far which favors Aaron. But a lot of time left yet. Of course the Texans are well within striking distance and if they come back then Benjun wins again.

The Buccaneers Could easily also go on a scoring spree and then Matt will be sitting pretty for the final game. We shall know it all later this evening. Tomorrow the winner gets the goods.

So Aaron won it, so close between the Texans and the Buccs last night. Talk about nail biting to the last minute. Hard luck on Benjun and then Matt in the tiebreaker. The award ceremony has already been and gone and here is the lucky winner. It could be you next week and remember no matter who you are and where you are you will get all the pot if you win.
